BILLY BULLFROG
Grr-ruump, grr-ruump Billy Bullfrog says,
“I like it in my creek.”
He jumps when you come close to him,
But then comes back to PEEK.
Billy is a lazy hunter. He sits in his creek all day and waits for his
meal to fly or swim by. When he sees a fly or dragonfly or water bug, he
sticks out his sticky tongue and catches it. Yum. That tastes delicious. It
happens so fast that you wouldn't see it even if you were standing right in
front of him!
When winter comes he buries himself in the mud on the bottom of the creek until spring. Then he can catch more bugs!
